What is your return policy?
We are confident you will enjoy the superior quality of our artisanal sea salt, and therefore do not accept returns or offer refunds. We will, however, replace any product that does not meet our high quality standards.
If we have made an error in your shipment, please contact us by email immediately so we can address it as quickly as possible.
How long does it take to ship an order?
It depends on where we are in our salt production, time of year, etc but we process orders as they are ready.
WHICH SHIPPING COMPANY DO YOU USE?
We use Canada Post for Newfoundland and Labrador, PO Boxes, US and international shipments. We use UPS or Purolator for all other shipments in Canada.
HOW OFTEN DO YOU SHIP?
We ship 1-2 times per week.
Do you ship to the US?
Yes. We offer a flat rate shipping of $25 for all shipments to the US.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. Please contact us by email to get a shipping quote.
Where can I buy your products?
You can purchase our products directly from our website, at our shop in Bonavista, and at many retail locations across Canada. For a detailed list of our stockists, please click here.
Where does your salt come from?
We harvest our salt water from Spillars Cove, Newfoundland, which is just a 5 minute drive from our facility in Bonavista.
Do you offer tours of your facility?
For safety reasons, we are unable to offer tours. Our shop in Bonavista is all windows where you can see the entire production facility, and we are happy to explain our salt-making process.
Is your salt iodized?
We do not add iodine to any of our salts, however, all sea salts contain trace amounts of iodine.
Do you make the honey?
Bonavista Gold Stamp honey is made by the bees and a bee farmer from Upper Amherst Cove, just a short drive from Bonavista.
I have a nut allergy. is your facility nut-free?
Yes. We are happy to report that we are a nut-free facility.
